they are in front of my camera.  With this family it was SO easy!  From the first email I received from Anke I felt as if I knew her

already.  Anke and George radiate such happiness and friendliness that they made me feel like a friend of theirs right from the

start.  Liam was christened at the Protea Hotel in Stellenbosch on the Sunday and we decided to do a little family shoot before

the service.  He is one of the cutest little guys I’ve seen in a while and such a friendly little baby.  Don’t you just love his outfit?!

in the first place:)  Magdel booked me to shoot Schalk’s christening more than a year and a half ago and then contacted me a

while ago to do an autumn family shoot with them.  She was very specific about the fact that she wanted the photos to be a little

arty and have a definite autumn feel.  At first I thought, no problem!  Then when the 3 De Roubaix children arrived I realised it

might not be THAT easy as Schalk was now a little boy running around and each of them wanted to go in a different direction:)

As usual when I do family shoots I had such a great time. With such a fun family, an amazing location and a beautiful autumn

day I am quite pleased with my “arty, autumn shoot” and hope the whole family will feel the same!

What an exciting thing to see your own photos published in a magazine that’s on all the shelves of the shops!

fashion side to it.  I’ve always wanted to be a fashion photographer but the road just didn’t take me there.  When Lara

contacted me to do a new portfolio shoot for her I was a bit nervous at first but when I spent some time on Pinterest to

get the inspiration flowing I started getting very excited.  Lara is an actress/dancer and was an absolute pro in front of

the camera.  With her beautiful features and ease in front of the camera I felt as if I could shoot for hours – unfortunately

the sun eventually had to set and we had to call it a day after our very successful shoot.

Always the bachelor and always the life of the party until Lolla (Laudine) stole his heart and just made him that little

bit more content, relaxed and happy.  He couldn’t have asked for a better suited person in his life and they make a beautiful

couple.  They asked me to take a few pictures for their save the date cards but in the end we decided to do a full engagement

shoot on the beautiful Vrede en Lust Estate.  I am not going to post the save the date photographs as I would like it to be a

surprise for their wedding guests.  Lolla has the most amazing eyes you have ever seen and I didn’t edit them one little bit -

they are actually that exact icy blue colour.  Le Roux and Lolla I wish you a lifetime of happiness and love full of everyday blessings.
