Throughout the editing process of this wedding, I couldn’t help but smile the whole time and experiencing a few “aaah” moments. They live in the Caribbean and booked me without having met me. Unfortunately, there was also no time to meet each other before the wedding day so we just had to trust that it will be an instant match – and so it was:)
From the first moment I met Jacques and Sunet I was completely at ease with them, like old friends. They instantly made me feel like I want to do more than my best for them on their wedding day and impressed me with their kind-heartedness which could be seen without even trying. Apart from them being so great they also have the most amazing friends and family and I enjoyed every moment of shooting their wedding day. These two are clearly so in love with each other and I couldn’t help but be amazed looking at these images and seeing the way Jacques look at Sunet in every single one…
To top it all off they got married at the beautiful and amazing Zorgvliet Estate (which is an absolute feast for any wedding photographer) so we had the whole couple shoot wrapped up in less than 50minutes without even having felt rushed.
Jacques and Sunet, after meeting you I feel so privileged that you chose me as your photographer and wish you and little Blake a lifetime of happiness and love and I sincerely hope we get the opportunity to see each other again (for that promised family shoot).
