The first time I met Bianca and Marcelle (a week before their wedding, since they live in Dubai), I was stuck in a cast up to my knee! Talk about bad luck and a way to stress out a bride-to-be! Luckily Bianca was the coolest, calmest bride and fiancé’, Marcelle even more so! I broke my foot early in January and the moment it happened all I could think about was this couple’s upcoming wedding and how I was going to break the news to them. Thank heavens the cast came off in the week before their wedding and the doctor said I would be able to walk in a moonboot:( Let me tell you, shooting a 9 hour wedding in a moonboot is not an easy task in the least but this amazing couple (who felt like friends after our first meeting) made it so worth it and I had such an amazing time at their wedding that I didn’t regret one second of still shooting their wedding.
The day was just a celebration filled with true love, laughter, beautiful people (who mostly flew all the way from Dubai) and perfect weather. There are so many highlights which I want to mention and things that stood out for me but I photographed all those things so I hope you will be able to see them in the images:)
Thanks SO much to my awesome second shooter on the day, Jan Dorfling, who truly supported me on the day and allowed me to take some breaks during the evening when I needed them.
